About the Work
My practice is a dialogue between intuition and material. I mix hues by eye and let drips, blooms, and edge-softening washes remain—a lot of of motion and risk.
What I personally like about this piece:
This painting has a lot of depth, and the aquamarine and cobalt blue pigments did some interesting things, as they had different weights and qualities.
